I have been named a finalist in the Leisure Agent of the Year category at the 2026 Travel Weekly Agent Achievement Awards, one of the travel industry’s most respected accolades AND finalist for Home-Based Travel Agent of the Year at The Travel Industry Awards 2026
I’m one of just six finalists selected from across the UK and Ireland.
The recognition comes after another successful year for my award-winning travel business, which has continued to grow through exceptional customer service, expert travel knowledge and a commitment to creating unforgettable travel experiences for my clients.
I won the Leisure Agent of the Year title in 2023, and am delighted to once again be shortlisted amongst the industry’s very best.
When I won this award in 2023, I honestly never dreamed I’d be in with a chance of winning it again. To be selected as one of just six finalists across the UK and Ireland is a huge honour and something I’m incredibly proud of.
The standard within our industry is exceptionally high, which makes this recognition even more special. I’m so grateful to my loyal clients for trusting me with their holidays, and to everyone who has supported Wendy Haines Travel and Wendy’s Wanderers over the years. Whatever the outcome, reaching the finals is an achievement I’m immensely proud of.
The winners of the Travel Weekly Agent Achievement Awards 2026 will be announced next month and The Travel Industry Awards in September at prestigious ceremonies attended by leading travel professionals from across the UK and Ireland.
