What’s it all about?
All Wendy’s Wanderers trips are escorted by Wendy or one of her team. You can choose to have your own room or share with a fellow wanderer.
All of the trips are ladies only and we have meet ups prior to the trip so we can get to know each other. We’ve enjoyed several coffee mornings and meals together. Ladies make friends and get together when they come home! We have all sorts of trips, some more active than others.
“I’m so glad I did my first trip, it’s changed my life.” A lady said these exact words recently, I can’t tell you how that makes me feel.
My aim is to give you a holiday to remember, exploring our fabulous planet in the presence of like minded ladies.
If you’re nervous, that’s fine- the other ladies are likely to be nervous too.
- We always eat dinner together, and move around the table so you get to mix. We also meet up before we go – meal/coffee morning/video call
- We only take small groups (16 max usually around 12)
- You will have time on your own if you want it
- There’s no pressure- if you don’t want to join in for an excursion or a meal, that’s fine
- We will be with you all the way- bus pick ups, airport, cruise terminal, excursions
Why did we start this?
For many years Wendy has run short trips for her WI ladies but after we opened the Holiday Hut we noticed a huge demand for trips for ladies who want to travel but don’t feel comfortable travelling alone.
May 2022 saw the inaugural group of ladies enjoy a week in Tuscany. It was a huge success and we have had several trips with various ladies since and many more planned
Who’s Wendy?
That’s me Wendy Haines. I’ve been doing this ‘job’ for over 30 years and have run my award winning travel business since 2013. Recent awards include ‘Leisure Agent of the Year’ quite an accolade!

I’m happily married to Andy but love taking groups of fun loving ladies away and exploring our fabulous planet. Andy’s allowed on the group trips or the reccies lol!

Where do we go?
Previous trips have included Tuscany, Croatia, London Theatre trips, bulbfields river cruise, India, Malta, Madeira, Iceland, Douro river cruise, Italy , Scotland cruise and a murder mystery weekend in Derbyshire
Future trips include Japan, Denmark cruise, Italy, Croatia, Paris river cruise, Kenya, India and much more. Trips sell out very quickly so get in touch if you want to book one.
