What’s it all about?
All Wendy’s Wanderers trips are escorted by me (Wendy). And you can choose to have your own room or share with a fellow wanderer.
Some of the trips are ladies only, whilst others are bookable for couples/friends. For the ladies only trips we have meet ups prior to the trip so we can get to know each other. We’ve enjoyed several coffee mornings and meals together. Ladies make friends and get together when they come home!
“I’m so glad I did my first trip, it’s changed my life.” A lady said these exact words recently, I can’t tell you how that makes me feel.
My aim is to give you a holiday to remember, exploring our fabulous planet in the presence of like minded ladies.
If you’re nervous, that’s fine- the other ladies are likely to be nervous too.
- We always eat dinner together, and move around the table so you get to mix. We also meet up before we go – meal/coffee morning/video call
- I only take small groups (16 max usually around 12)
- You will have time on your own if you want it
- There’s no pressure- if you don’t want to join in for an excursion or a meal, that’s fine
- I’m with you all the way- bus pick ups, airport, cruise terminal, excursions
Why did I start this?
For many years I’ve run short trips for my WI ladies but after I opened the Holiday Hut I noticed a huge demand for trips for ladies who want to travel but don’t feel comfortable travelling alone.
May 2022 saw the inaugural group of ladies enjoy a week in Tuscany. It was a huge success and I have had several trips with various ladies since and many more planned
Who’s Wendy?
I’m Wendy Haines and I’ve been doing this ‘job’ for over 30 years and have run my successful business for the last 10 years. Last year I was crowned top agent in the UK and Ireland – quite an accolade!

I’m happily married to Andy but love taking groups of fun loving ladies away and exploring our fabulous planet. Andy’s allowed on the group trips or the reccies lol!
Everything I book is 100% financially protected and I work with lots of trusted suppliers.
Where do we go?
Previous trips have included Tuscany, Croatia, London Theatre trips, bulbfields river cruise, Madeira.
Future trips include India, Malta, Madeira, Iceland, Douro river cruise, Italy and much more.
