Last week I was onboard Ambassador Cruise’s Ambition sailing from Liverpool to Bristol
I thoroughly enjoyed the ship
She’s smaller than a lot (up to around 1200 passengers ) and I really loved the family feel. The crew are super friendly, the ship is small enough not to get lost but big enough to have your own space
The food was plentiful and yummy
Prices onboard are ££s with drinks normal pub prices – the drinks packages actually work out very good value for money
We had an outside cabin with a big window, I went and looked at several other types including an inside single which was very spacious and bright! Everywhere was clean,comfy and bright
Entertainment was great- on the last night we had The Bootleg Beatles who were outstanding, the ship’s entertainment team work really hard and are very talented
I’m already looking forward to my cruise with the Wanderers next year
The prices for these cruises are incredible value – to give you an idea a week in the Norwegian Fjords next year starts at £729 with the second guest 50% off solo fare from £919 !!!!
They also have sailings from Liverpool,Newcastle and Bristol which makes a nice change for us further north
